Are you and your family differing on what direction to go in, and you want to talk through the options? Are you interested in guidance and resources and plan to do the actual work yourself? Advising will be your best option.
Consulting
Are you working through an idea about what you want “home” to be like? Are you thinking about aging-in-place and want guidance, resources and contractors to do the work? Alternatively, are you curious about downsizing, upsizing or looking for a possible retirement community? Would it be helpful to you to have guidance and coordination support in the process of adapting your home or finding a new one? Consulting will be your best option.
Project Management - Partial or Full Project Management
Do you want to renovate your home so that you or a family member can age-in-place? Are you interested in full-support to coordinate and manage a move to a new home or retirement community? Are you Interested in partial or full project management so that you and your family can focus on other, more pressing matters? Project Management will be your best option.
A high level approach to identifying your needs, vision and ideas for your future. I will listen, and together we will ideate. I will share ideas, resources and recommendations, after our session it is your responsibility to take actions that work best for you.

Multi session, project-based Consulting to support you and your family in the process of planning for life transitions. Together we will identify what you want, need and require to take the next steps. I will support you in a coordination role, offering resources, references and contractor lists, and initiating contact and facilitating necessary meetings.
You will be managing the project scope, timeline and budget.
Pricing - We will have an initial meeting to determine the high-level scope, timeline and budget, then I will compose a proposal. Once we agree on the proposal and sign the contract, we will begin to work together.
Multi session, project-based Project Management to support you and your family in the process of planning and taking action for life transitions. Together we will identify what you want, need and require to take the next steps. I will support you in a Partial or Full Project Management role, offering resources, references and contractor lists, facilitating necessary meetings, managing contractor and stakeholder engagement, timeline and budgetary requirements.

About Brooke Saba McDowell
Brooke is an environmental gerontologist, sustainability specialist and community builder. She has a masters degree in gerontology, and project management experience on almost a million square feet of sustainability certifying of healthcare, higher education and government architecture projects. She has traveled the world learning about how people live and thrive in community, focusing on intergenerational engagement and connection, food access, and culture. Brooke has studied different sustainable and regenerative building practices and community practices in Cambodia, Costa Rica, Denmark, the Netherlands, India, Indonesia, Nicaragua, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam. She is passionate about healthy buildings, people, and the planet.
Brooke looks at the world holistically through a human-nature lens and honors the intricate web of connections between all living things past, present, and future. Outside of gerontology consulting, Brooke is a printmaker and multimedia artist, hosts community gatherings, volunteers with a number of organizations and hosts sound baths at studios and spaces around the USA.
